Day three of IMAC competition was again delayed, this time by a significant amount of fog. Flights began at 9:30 a.m. and pilot’s fit in their four rounds before the evening’s IMAC banquet.
Yesterday was hit with a rain delay that had pilots and airplanes hiding out until the storm passed through. Around lunch time, day two of competition finally began.Download and read this issue!

CL and RC Scale wrapped up on Sunday with awards presented to the winners. Everyone one is traveling home and AMA hopes to see you again next year!
The flying portion of CL and RC Scale Nats began Saturday. Pilots battled temperatures in the high 80s to make their flights and increase their scores.
Pilots, judges, and spectators spent Friday under the tents for static judging. Each model’s likeness to its full-size counterpart was assessed, and practice flights for Saturday began.
RC and CL SCALE BEGINS: Wow! This year marks the 90th National Aeromodeling Championships and one of many for the site in Muncie, Indiana. John Boyko is the event director (ED) for this year’s contest, and he has a lot of fun stuffed into this one weekend.
