The 2026 IMAC Nationals are officially in the books!
Over four days of competition, pilots completed eight Known rounds, five Unknown rounds, and three Freestyle rounds. This allowed every pilot to receive two drops in the Known sequences and two drops in the Unknown sequences, making for a fair and competitive championship.
The weather couldn't have cooperated much better. While temperatures were warm, we enjoyed four straight days without rain, allowing the contest to stay on schedule. The flow of the event went smoothly from start to finish. Thanks to the teamwork of our volunteers and pilots, we were able to complete every planned round.
Congratulations to every pilot who attended the 2026 IMAC Nationals. The dedication, preparation, and sportsmanship displayed throughout the week are what make this event special. Whether you were competing for a championship or flying your first Nationals, you helped make this year's event a success.
A special thank you goes to the Academy of Model Aeronautics for their outstanding support. From the facilities and staff to the behind-the-scenes work that keeps the Nationals running, their commitment is greatly appreciated by the entire IMAC community.
Finally, thank you to all of our pilots, callers, judges, scorekeepers, line crews, volunteers, sponsors, and families. Events like the IMAC Nationals are only possible because of the people who give their time and energy to this sport.
