Another great day of competition is in the books at the 2026 IMAC Nationals! The day started with another round of Unknown sequences, challenging pilots to fly routines they had only recently received and could only practice using stick planes. We then transitioned into another round of Known sequences before breaking for the first Freestyle round of the week. The freestyle performances put on an outstanding show for everyone in attendance and highlighted the incredible talent and creativity of our pilots.

Following freestyle, we completed two more rounds of Known sequences, making for a full day of flying. Competition wrapped up around 6:30 p.m. after another successful day at the flight line.
At the conclusion of flying, the AMA held the 100th NATS raffle prize giveaway. A huge thank you goes out to all of the sponsors who generously donated prizes and helped make this special celebration possible.

Looking ahead to tomorrow, the goal is to complete two more Unknown rounds, one Known round, and another Freestyle round. We're hoping to finish a little earlier so everyone can enjoy the annual IMAC Nationals Banquet tomorrow evening. With the possibility of rain on Friday, we're working hard to stay ahead of the weather and complete as much of the contest schedule as possible.
Stay tuned for another update tomorrow as the competition continues!
