The final day of the 2025 IMAC Nationals at AMA Headquarters brought the contest to a strong finish after a challenging weather delay. Unfortunately, Thursday's schedule was completely washed out due to persistent rain and low ceilings throughout the day, forcing contest organizers to push the remaining rounds to Friday.
Pilots arrived early Friday morning, ready to make the most of the remaining time. The day kicked off with one Unknown round followed by one final Known round to conclude the precision portion of the event. With determination and focus, pilots flew their final sequences, showcasing the culmination of months of preparation.

After the precision rounds were complete, it was time for the crowd-pleasing Freestyle portion of the contest. Pilots had the opportunity to cut loose and fly to music, delivering dynamic routines packed with high-energy 3D maneuvers, extreme aerobatics (XA), and moments of elegant precision. Two full rounds of Freestyle were flown, and the performances didn’t disappoint. From gyroscopic tumbles to knife-edge passes, the routines brought cheers from spectators and fellow pilots alike.
Huge thanks to Jacques Telles for being the contest director for the event!
Despite the weather setback, the IMAC Nationals concluded on a high note, celebrating the best in scale aerobatic competition. A huge thank-you goes out to all the volunteers, judges, sponsors, and especially the pilots for their perseverance and sportsmanship throughout the event. Until next year, keep the wings level (or not, if you’re flying Freestyle)!
This should do it for us with NatsNews. Thank you!
