New US Team Pilot Nob Muraki having a go at the ARCCHS precision competition fun event.

The 2024 AMA RC Helicopter Nats and US F3C & F3N World Team Selections have concluded. In addition, Sportsman, Expert, and three different categories of Scale have also concluded. With a single flightline and about 150 “competition” flights in front of judges, all involved needed to be on top of it all.
Shortly after lunch, we had completed all of the required flights and had a competition final. In addition to the individual event winners, a brand-new US team for F3C and F3N, to compete in Romania in 2025, was decided upon!
As a small note, the entire management of the American Radio Control Competition Helicopter Society (ARCCHS) closed with a sincere thank-you to all of the participants. This was the first year that the new helicopter Special Interest Group ran the AMA Nats and US team trials. With their labors, as well as all of the pilots, volunteers, and a great contest director (CD; Thanks, Chris!), the event was a complete success!
Final scores and standings can be found below.
