The morning of the second day of the 2025 Indoor Free Flight Nats competition featured several popular events. Limited Pennyplane saw the largest participation of any of the events so far, with 16 entries. Tom Sova came out on top. Chuck Andraka came in second place a little over a minute behind, and Don Slusarczyk came in third. P-18 was the next most contested event with 12 flyers. John Kagan took first, followed by Paul Morganroth and Luke Coushenaur.
Open Pennyplane was flown concurrently with Limited Pennyplane. The rules allow Limited Pennyplanes to be flown in the Open category, although the models are somewhat at a performance disadvantage. There were a few crossovers, but the top times were posed by flyers with purpose built models. Don Slusarczyk and John Kagan took first and second respectively, with biplanes and Tom Sova came in third with a monoplane.

The afternoon featured the second round of F1D competition. Eleven competitors posted official flights and Brett Sanborn took top honors with a 27:17 and 26:58. He flew near the apex of the dome and demonstrated masterful steering, avoiding the lights, banners, and scoreboard. Hamish Christie came in second, followed by Tom Sova in third. The Junior and Senior competitors used the contest to practice for the upcoming Team Selection Contest in July in Moscow, ID.
